Warehouse Control System ( WCS )

TriFactor's Warehouse Control System (WCS) which is a software program that works as a real time interface between the WMS and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and/or PC-based cell controllers that control the material handling equipment in a warehouse.  This software is a single point of control to efficiently direct and manage automated material handling and order processing within your warehouse.  This will enable you to fine-tune your operations, and optimize your current investment in software and material handling equipment.  Implementing warehouse control software can be a cost effective alternative to upgrading or replacing a WMS or ERP system.

This type of system isn't for everyone, but you should consider calling TriFactor for a Warehouse Control System when the following conditions exist:

  • More than $50 million in sales
  • A warehouse larger than 100,000 square feet
  • You have or plan on putting in a conveyor system with multiple sortation points
  • You average four or more SKU's per order
  • You process more than 1,000 orders per day

Warehouse Managment System ( WMS )

One key element in a company's ability to having good supply chain management is a Warehouse Management System (WMS).  This type of software system collects a vast amount of information, such as inventory data, customer orders and historical data and then processes in a non-real time mode, mapping out a workload plan for what needs to be done on the warehouse floor on a day-to-day basis.  If you are considering going to a host system such as WMS then TriFactor call on  assist you with this process.
